“Miracle Choir’s ‘Chasing Dreams’ Concert: An Unforgettable Celebration of Creativity and Empowerment”
Just over a week ago, on July 1st, our Miracle Choir took the stage for their highly anticipated concert titled “Chasing Dreams.” If you are new to the Courtney’s Corner family, we are a mobile 501c3 non-profit organization that brings the joy of performing arts to students in Middle Tennessee impacted by disability. Our Miracle Choir meets year long to work on two separate full length concerts, along with preparing for various performance opportunities in the Greater Nashville area.
Today’s spotlight is on the transformative power of music and the community it creates!
Newcomer Awards:
The Miracle Choir had the pleasure of welcoming four talented new performers to their ensemble this spring semester. These new members brought unique voices and perspectives, enriching the choir’s vibrant spirit while delivering a firework performance. With open hearts and open arms, the veteran performers embraced their new castmates, creating a warm and inclusive space where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
Chasing Dreams:
Now, let’s talk about the theme of their concert: chasing your dreams! Walt Disney taught us that “if you can dream it, you can do it.” And our embodied this quote this semester. Each student had the opportunity to select songs that ignited their personal adventure spirits and encouraged the audience to pursue their dreams right alongside us. Check out the set list below:
